What is the difference between Rubber, Self-Inking, and Pre-Inked stamps?
Rubber stamps are for use with an ink pad. With pre-inked stamps the ink is contained within the die and will give you several thousand impressions and when the stamp starts to fade you can bring it back to life by apply a few drops of the re-inking fluid. Self-inking stamps have a rubber printing surface which rests on the built-in ink pad until required for stamping.
1. Regular Rubber Stamps
Regular rubber stamps are basic polymer stamps that are used along with a stamp pad. They have plastic handles and are quick to get and inexpensive to buy. They can be messy if not handled properly, and require the use of a stamp pad.
2. Self-inking Stamps
Self-inking stamps are stamps with built-in internal stamp pad. A rotation action causes the stamp die to hit the internal stamp pad between each use. In layman's terms, a self-inking stamp is basically a regular stamp and a stamp pad all in one box. Self-inkers are great for multiple stamping, are reinkable, and reasonably priced.
3. Pre-inked stamps
Pre-inked stamps are stamps whose impression dies are saturated with ink. These stamps do not use either an internal or external stamp pad. These stamps are durable, long-lasting, clean, easy to reink, and of the highest quality.
Knowing these differences before purchasing a custom stamp can help you make a more informed decision and increase satisfaction with our products.

Sign your name in black or blue ballpoint pen 3 times and tick next to the one you would prefer to use.
Is it easy to re-ink Pre Inked Rubber Stamp
Preinking of Pre Inked Rubber Stamps is an easy process simplified by the provision of a re-inking diagram. Follow it carefully, keeping in mind that a rubber stamp requires 2-2 drops only and should not be over-inked. 12-hours should be allowed to elapse after re-inking before you add more ink.
Is it possible to change the ink colour of Rubber stamps?
Changing the ink colour of your stamp is not recommended as ink formulas for each colour are different and are not mixed well. Mixing colours result in blurry impressions as the ink holding pores of rubber stamps can get blocked when a different ink formula is used. True colours cannot be obtained by mixing different formulas e.g. a black ink formula mixed with red will not render a true red.
Which is the best way to clean my PRE INKED Rubber stamp?
Occasionally, lint and paper dust may adhere to the surface of your stamp. To clean, simply, take a piece of cellophane tape and press it across the rubber stamp with your finger. When you remove the tape, you will remove the residue well. As you stamp, you will find the clarity of the impressions made by your rubber stamp as clear as the day it was bought.
